Here is a Tie Interceptor I built from drawings and pictures I found on the Internet. Since the first time I seen the Interceptor in the movies when I was a Kid it was my favorite ship. I always liked the aggressive style to it and the sounds they made. Here is a link to a forum to where I posted the entire build. Most of it I think www.wattflyer.com A lot has changed in RC Flight with electrics and with that it has opened a whole new doorway of possibilities. Due to the extremely powerful brushless motors and light weight and high powered Lithium Batteries you can pretty much make anything fly that you may not have had the chance to 20 years ago. This was scratch built from balsa, blue foam from Lowes and some carbon fiber tubes and rods. Building with blue foam is fairly inexpensive and with the amount you get you can make a lot . These wont break your wallet and you can have hours of making up things to build and fly. The Tie Interceptor is 3' long 34'' wide and 28'' tall and about 2 lbs. It is powered by 3530-10 Brushless and a Power Up 40 amp. ESC. Battery is a 25c 1650 3s Lithium. Control is done using Delta style wing configuration. Very easy and fun to fly. So here is another video of the Star Wars Tie-Fighter Interceptor after some editing. Hope you guys enjoy! Gig540
